We just had our third quarterly team building and we tried out this place that had a BBQ-All-you-can buffet. It's a bit similar to Yakimix except that they only had raw ingredients and the grill is a charcoal one. Their tables have 1 grill each and can seat 4 (5 if you ask for an extra chair). Their place has a nice atmosphere and the smell of grilled food can be sniffed from the outside.

We went there on a Sunday lunch and although Charaptor only opened recently and when we got there the place was packed! We had to wait a bit to get seats. There's plain rice, assortment of meats that has already been marinated, a bit of seafood and a wide variety of sauces you can dip your grilled food on. They also give you two kinds of sauce for basting one based on soy sauce and another based on tomato.

I love grilled foods and went back a few good times. My favorite was the chicken and pork choices. The beef is kind of too chewy for me. There were also street food type of choices on the buffet like isaw, fish-ball, chicken heart and liver. I also had some shrimp although it is too bad that they are of the smaller kind. There was also squid but it was gone before I could get some.

The BBQ-All-You-Can is priced at 290php for lunch and 390php for dinner. Included is unlimited refills of juice or iced tea.The juice is your regular powdered juice drink and the iced tea is probably also the same. They also offer a la carte food items but we did not see their menu. My office mates also ordered a bucket of beer. The price for the lunch buffet I think is a very good deal since the assortment of meats that are offered is enough since you can kind of do this at the comfort of your own home.

The things that I kind of noticed to be a negative is the lack of serving tongs for each kind of food. There is also a lack of labels and you won't know what kind of raw meat you are getting if you don't look closely. The waitresses also don't ask what kind of juice you want. I don't know if you can ask for what you want but we got pineapple for our first pitcher of juice. The place is comfy but of course hot because of the grills. It is nice that there's smoke exhaust for each grill though. Also they don't allow reservations in advance. It would be nice if they would add sweets/candies or fruits and bread to their buffet.
Overall it was still nice having lunch at Charaptor! Enjoyed my food and the experience.
